Members of the Harris County Housing Finance Corporation (HCHFC) board and staff participated in Rally Day 2025 at the Texas Legislature to discuss various bills and issues with elected officials on Feb. 19. More than 70 people from our industry participated in the annual event, which is organized by the Tex as Association of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP), with the Texas Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies (TALHFA) and the Rural Rental Housing Association of Texas (RRHA).

Board Vice President Chad Khan, Board Treasurer Hon. Dwight Jefferson and HCHFC Executive Director Rene Martinez joined the event as part of a statewide effort to meet with state lawmakers to talk about issues of importance to the corporation.
